A long-term technical partner for your CRM.
Fractional consulting · Ongoing technical ownership
Understand what is holding your CRM back, decide what to change and carry the work through. I work alongside your team as an ongoing external partner, taking responsibility for technical decisions and implementation.
When the CRM becomes harder to work with
Teams cannot trust the data, automations are difficult to trace, or each new requirement adds another workaround. You may be consolidating systems, adding markets or trying to bring order to a CRM that has grown without a consistent structure.
The starting point is how the system works today and where it gets in people’s way.
A diagnostic of the system and the daily work
I audit data quality, broken automations, the data model, permissions and integrations. The review looks for architectural weaknesses as well as individual faults.
I also examine users’ everyday tasks and frustrations. That connects technical findings to the work the CRM needs to support.
A restructuring proposal and an action plan
You receive a diagnosis of the current state, the issues to address and the opportunities to improve it. Where the structure needs to change, I set out a restructuring proposal and prioritised next steps.
The action plan gives us a basis for deciding what to fix first, which changes depend on others and how to proceed with implementation.
Responsibility through implementation and beyond
I assess requests, design changes, set development priorities and direct implementation with your team. I contribute code where specialist work is needed and review how changes affect the wider system.
The work continues after delivery: reviewing results and usage, maintaining the platform and adjusting the plan as new needs emerge. Each new decision builds on an understanding of your systems and the work already delivered.
How an ongoing engagement works
A retainer is an ongoing agreement for technical direction and implementation support. We agree the scope, capacity, responsibilities and review points around the work your organisation needs.
This suits teams with a substantial CRM to restructure and maintain, where successive projects benefit from the same person owning the decisions and following through on them.
